Photography

One of my many interests is photography. Sometimes I think: should I try and do this for a living? But then again, sometimes I think "should I do that for a living?" (But most of the time I'm happy being a student, living life the cheap way and working only 8 hours a week to make a living :) Besides that, I'm just an amateur without much experience or talent :)

I started this hobby with a course for beginners and a Practica SLR with a 50mm/1.8 and a 135/2.8, later I also got a 28/1.8. Next step was a Canon EOS 300, with two nice Sigma AF lenses (28-105 2.8:4.5 and 70-300 4.5:5.6 Macro). Pretty automatic but I tend to do most if not all light-measuring and focussing manual. But since I've got my EOS 20D I'm in heaven! I'm still using the two sigma lenses though (long live backward compatibility :). In the future, a new lens would be nice :) A Canon EF 300 mm f/4 L IS USM would be the best - still reasonably affordable - option. Update: since I have fixed myself a nice stpendium for next year this *really* becomes a short-term option! Update again: Hehe, the baby's on my desk right now :)
