Turpa Kiini is the band I used to form with three of my friends. We played music inspired by what we liked; a mix of different tastes (punk, ska, reggae, metal and hip-hop) and some creative weirdness. We never did covers, all was original, from text to melody.

You can check out our mp3s. This stuff you probably won't find on K-Lite or E-Donkey. Even I-Tunes won't have them. And yet, here they are, free to download. I hope my former fellow band-members are OK with me placing this here though :). Please remember that they're still our property, listen to them, if you want, enjoy, laugh or criticize, but be fair. Read my statement about copyright in the 'home' section for more details about what I mean with 'fair'.
The songs on the right are from two CD's. The first was a demo we recorded in the Flowerhouse Studio in Haarlem. The other was part of a project of our former high-school which gave us (and many other students) the opportunity to record one song, which they would place on their CD.
Later, I might add some more stuff I got, just to keep it all as some sort of on-line memory. We ceased to exist some years ago, sad but true. But the time we played togther was great fun; packing ourselves with most of our instruments in a Renault Dwingo (it's small but do-able), writing songs, performing live, drinking beer and stuff.
Yeah, if you play an instrument, get some friends together, form a band and play, play, play! If you live in Holland, near Haarlem, Check out Daisy Bell, you can rehearse there if you ain't got the space yourself!
Finally, I'd like to thank our groupies, eventhough they were small in numbers :)
